At Zento we are a factory, not a trader. Every turnstile, gate, barrier and parking system we export is made in our own 2,000 m² production facility, where our own R&D, production and quality-control teams follow a controlled 7-step process. Step 1 — Design and Engineering
Everything starts with your requirement. Whether you choose a standard model, an OEM version with your brand, or a full ODM project, our engineers translate the specification into detailed technical drawings and configurations — considering durability, functionality, aesthetics and compliance with safety standards.
Custom options locked in at this stage: dimensions, passage width, housing material, reader type (face recognition / fingerprint / RFID / QR code), communication interface (RS485, TCP-IP), colors and logo.
Drawings are shared with you for approval before production begins.
Step 2 — Material Procurement & Incoming Inspection
Materials are sourced from qualified suppliers — 304 stainless steel sheets, motors, sensors, controllers, readers and fasteners. On arrival, every batch passes incoming material inspection against predefined acceptance criteria, so defective components never enter the production line.
Step 3 — Fabrication and Assembly
Sheet metal is transformed into the product's main structure:
- Laser cutting of stainless-steel panels to precise dimensions;
- CNC press-brake bending to form cabinets and frames with consistent angles;
- Welding and forming of the main structure, followed by de-burring and surface preparation.
Step 4 — Electronic Integration
The unit becomes intelligent: sensors, controllers, card readers and actuators are integrated, and all wiring is carefully installed and routed. Communication boards are configured for **RS485 / TCP-IP integration with third-party access-control systems**, and motion mechanisms are tuned for smooth, quiet operation.
Step 5 — Quality Control and Testing
Before any unit is finished, it is tested — not spot-checked:
- Structural integrity inspection and electrical connection verification;
- Functional tests of every passage mode: card, face recognition, fingerprint, QR code, manual and emergency open;
- Aging test before shipping; mechanisms and control systems are validated to 10-million-cycle life tests;
- Every unit is quality-tested before shipment, with photos and testing videos kept for customer reference;
- Third-party inspections are welcome — we support your evaluations and provide certification and test reports.

Step 6 — Packaging and Shipping
Finished units are carefully packaged — carton or **wooden case**, according to destination and transport mode — with documentation, manuals and accessories included. Shipments leave our Shenzhen factory on time and on specification, with export terms (FOB, CIF, DDU, DDP) arranged to suit your project.
